Last year our family had the privilege of sharing a bit of our son Xavier’s story at The Jeff Young Memorial Golf Tournament. Since then, every time we drive by the course, Xavier mentions “the best time ever” at the tournament. He had a blast socializing with everyone. Thank you for making him feel so special. He still considers you friends as do we. You are an amazing group of people. The event is truly a special one. You honour your dear friend so well. What an incredible legacy.

The financial impact of childhood cancer is astronomical and because of your generous gift at the tournament, we were able to provide Xavier with the best care such as physiotherapy, OT, counselling, and orthotics for his growing body. Xavier has continued to need different types of support as his body heals from the years of grueling treatment. Because of your support, we have been able to get him what he needs every time. The relief this has brought to us as parents is immeasurable. 

Seeing your community come together was an experience we will never forget. The care and support in the room was encouraging to us. Your support didn’t just help pay bills; it gave us a chance to finally take a deep breath after 3 years of barely surviving. The funds enabled us to focus on being a family. There are no words to adequately express our thanks for that incredible gift. Truly.
